The web sites below contain information about some of the preserved wetlands around the Bay that you can visit:

• Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge, located along the southeast edge of the Bay near Fremont and the Dumbarton Bridge.
• Sunnyvale Baylands Park, located along the southwest edge of the Bay in the town of Sunnyvale.
• Palo Alto Baylands Preserve, located along the southwest edge of the Bay in Palo Alto.
• China Camp State Park, located along San Pablo Bay in Marin County near San Rafael.
• San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge, located along the northern edge of San Pablo Bay between Vallejo and the Petaluma River. A trail to Tubbs Island, the only portion of the refuge accessible by foot, begins near the junction of Highways 121 and 37.
• Crissy Field, a restored wetland in San Francisco in the Presidio (part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area).
